01Overview
Bubble Blast: Grid Pop ("the app") is a single-player puzzle game published by evmedia. This policy covers the Android and iOS versions of the app available through Google Play and the App Store.
The short version: the app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no chat. It shows ads through Google AdMob (a banner while you play, and occasional full-screen or "watch to continue" ads) and uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand basic usage, so we can keep the game free and improve it. Your progress and settings are saved only on your own device.
02What we collect
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data. This is standard app-analytics data - it is not tied to your name, email, or any account, because the app doesn't have accounts.
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Automatically collected by Firebase | App opens and session length, device model, operating system version, app version, general/approximate location derived from IP address (city-level at most), language setting |
| Game events we log | game_start (a new game began), game_over (with your final score, bubbles popped, and best combo for that game), continue_used (the "continue" option was used) |
| Collected by Google AdMob (to show ads) | Advertising ID, general device/app info, and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) used to select and measure ads. We request non-personalized ads only - see Third-party services. |
None of this is linked to a name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying information collected by the app itself.
03What we don't collect
- No account creation, sign-in, name, email, or phone number
- No contacts, photos, files, or camera access
- No precise GPS location
- No microphone access or audio recording - the app only plays sound effects
- No precise ad targeting from your interests or browsing history - ad requests are marked non-personalized
04What stays on your device
Your best score, sound on/off preference, whether you've seen the tutorial, and your current in-progress board are saved locally on your device only (using standard app storage). None of this leaves your device or reaches our servers - it's simply how the app remembers your game between sessions. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
05App permissions
On Android, the app requests MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS only - it lets the game control its own sound volume and playback behavior. It does not request microphone, camera, contacts, storage, or location permissions.
06Third-party services
The app relies on two Google services:
- Firebase Analytics - the anonymous usage data described above.
- Google AdMob - serves the banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads in the app. We configure AdMob to request non-personalized ads only, and ads are not directed at children.
Both are operated by Google and are subject to Google's own privacy practices:
Firebase's data handling: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
How Google uses data from AdMob: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
We don't sell, rent, or share any data with anyone beyond this.
07Data retention
Analytics data is retained according to Firebase Analytics' standard retention window (currently up to 14 months from collection), after which it's automatically deleted from Google's systems. Locally saved game data stays on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it.
08Children's privacy
Bubble Blast: Grid Pop is a general-audience game and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app has no accounts and no way to enter personal information, this risk is minimal by design. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll address it promptly.
09Your choices
- Turn off analytics collection for this app anytime from your device's settings (Android: Settings → Apps → Bubble Blast: Grid Pop → Permissions/Data; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements).
- Reset or opt out of ad personalization from your device's ad settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID / Opt out of Ads Personalization; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
- Reset your local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.
- Ask us about your data - since nothing is tied to an identifiable account, we generally can't look up "your" specific analytics data, but you're welcome to reach out with any question.
10Changes to this policy
If this policy changes - for example, if a new feature starts collecting different data - we'll update the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, note it in the app's store listing update notes.
